Great Blue Heron

Ottawa, Ontario

Considering how far away this Heron was; and the fact that I was only using the Nikkor 80-400mm AF-S lens; I am amazed at the resolving power. I guess anyone used to the Nikon 800/800E series cameras wouldn't be too surprised, but this was my first outing with the new D810; and I am simply blown away by this 36 MPix monster!

how do you like d810 with afs 80-400. combo that I myself is looking at buying. Is the shutter speed and buffer large enough for soccer photos and birds in flight or should I save and purchase the D4s
