The Amiral Duperre
Based on Jules Verne's Novel "Robur The Conqueror", 1886

The Amiral Duperre is the result of the French army acquiring the technology of the Albatross from the salvage of the wreck. Some of the advanced machinery was retro-engineered, then updated to provide the French with the first Air Force. This model is almost all cardboard with only the shafts of the propellers being brass.
