Milky Way, 20 minutes exposure at f2.8 using a Tamron 14/2.8 lens. Fuji ISO 800 print film. Centrally the lens is as good as the film gets. In the extreme top corners you can make out gullwings on the brighter stars. Splice of two photos. Unfortunately my stitching abilities are not yet quite up to getting the density of the two images matched up well enough so that you cannot discern the joint :-( The Canon EOS 50E camera was piggy-backed onto a Celestron Ultima 2000-8" scope to track the sky.
