Location: northern portion of the Silver Island Mountains, northeast of Wendover, Utah. About 50 feet (17 m) behind the camera's position is the Silver Island Mountains Backcountry Byway, the road that encircles the range. The view is about southwest.

The upper image shows me relaxing at my campsite in 2005. For the lower photo, taken in 2011, I was too lazy to lug the heavy ice chest into the scene.

The perspective of the two photos differs because of the different lenses used. The 2005 photo was shot with a 20mm lens. The 2011 photo was shot with an 18-200mm lens set to 22mm.
