Consecrated in 1961, the new Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche is an octagon 35m in diameter and 20m high. Its concrete wall is inlaid with 21292 stained glass blocks. At the center is a suspended brass figure of the resurrected Christ.
