These are rescue shelters for travelers. If there is a bad weather, broken car or lost tourist, the people can look for a shelter in these sheds / houses. They are open for everyone. There are many people traveling around Icelandic nature in different weather and then the rescue shelter can be handy.

The simple lines, colors, and that expanse of heavy gray fog and sky background with a
