No spitting in the fountain.

After a long train ride from Buffalo to Chicago, it was time to blow off some steam.

The train was about one and a half hours late in leaving last night, 1:20 am.
Then we had to wait behind commercial traffic several times, which led to us
arriving FOUR HOURS LATE! Then the hatchback on the rental wouldn't open
and we were supposed to be at Northwestern University for a tour
in less than 20 minutes--it was a 40 minute drive. All was not lost though,
as we arrived in time for the walking tour of the campus and were saved
the heavy sales spiel of the video production.

I guess I can't be mad at Amtrak for allowing commercial traffic
the right-of-way, I mean corporations are the most important 'people' in America, right?

Neat shot, Carl! The delays happen around here also with Amtrak, but I guess since BNSF owns and maintains the rails they figure they have the right away.

Behind every cloud there is usually a silver lining they say. The great dof is certainly key in this well conceived
exercise :0)

Great shot! Indeed corporations are treated as the VIPs in American politics... the only "people" that are actually represented in this splendid plutocracy errr democracy ;)
