Beautiful Wood Nymph moth (Eudryas grata)

This beautiful moth was found on the grape vines in front of the centre today. As grapes are the larval host plant, this is not surprising! An extraordinarily handsome moth, and it is equally beautiful in the caterpillar stage - to see the caterpillar: http://www.pbase.com/laroseforest/image/122463757/medium
