My all-time favorite snag. I've photographed it many times. I was there when this was blocking the trail, maybe 15 (or more) years ago. Instead of rolling it downhill where no one would ever see it (where they rolled the other pieces from the same snag that weren't so beautiful), they moved it above the trail with this gorgeous side showing in the approach direction from the Timberline Lodge.
