This is a stone monument outside the airport at Lord Howe Island. It recognises the world Heritage significance of Lord Howe Island. I think the rock was dug up when they levelled the airstrip - its rounded so it must have been river, sea or glazier eroded - but Lord Howe Island is volcanic in origin.
