Black-headed Grosbeak

My wife says 'you can tell the new ones by the dumb look'.
This photo kind of illustrates the point but the lower mandible is not as flesh colored as I think it should be so maybe it is just a dumb(looking) female?
I am getting a lot of fledgling and juvenile birds now. Today the Violet-green Swallows fledged and they were out and going before I noticed.
No photos this year, darn-it! I have photos of tanager and warblers waiting though.
PS: I have decided it is a female. Other photos to come. About a month too early for juvie.
PSPS: The next day I had a definite juvenile. Maybe it is a juvie!?
