Mürren is a small village and a stroll from one end (near the BLM station) to the other (near the Schilthornbahn) can take only 15 minutes. However, in practice, it's likely to take longer as you stop for refreshing mountain views and for popping into little shops. The chalets are all built in a traditional Swiss style, giving the village a pleasant harmonious feel. The grandest building is the Hotel Alpine Palace, while other notable buildings are the two churches. In summer, the whole village bursts with flowers. Signposting is excellent, though it must be impossible to get lost in such a small place.
