This photo and the previous few were taken while on a gondola ride.
It was very expensive but oh so worth it! After all, our trip
was to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary.
Our gondolier took us through canals rich in history and beauty.
In some of the canals we were the only ones there. It was the
last run of the day for our gondolier so he was very talkative
and we were given quite a history lesson. Very enjoyable!
