Berlin, Germany

completed in 1894 by Paul Wallot, following German national unity and the establishment of the German Reich in 1871.
As a consequence of the German reunification, 3 Oct 1990, the Bundestag (German Federal Parliament) decided, to make the Reichstag the seat of Parliament in Berlin, the restored capital of reunited Germany.
After a complete and spectacular restoration, by Sir Norman Foster, the German Parliament reconvened here on 19 April 1999. (Source - Berlin Official Info Page)

I am so glad you showed the dome on top in one of your other posts. I had no idea it was there and it is quite a contrast with the older original building that was the site of so much tragic history. Excellent image! ~BV~
