Duchesse de Nemours

#15 June Challenge - Monochrome

Duchesse de Nemours is my favorite peony for fragrance.

A beautiful creamy white with an aroma reminiscent of Ponds Cold Cream!

This is spectacular in B&W - love the brighter center part surrounded by the other smaller blooms.

Ooooh ~ what a beautiful peony image! It looks fabulous in B&W! BV
I'll have to remember this name; the only fragrant peony I have is Sarah Bernhardt.

Beautiful - I'd love to be able to grow these peonies up here - but it's not cold enough.

Not cold enough where I live for them to grow so seeing others images are a joy. V Love it in both versions

I love this perfect, unfurling bud and the silvery tones in the monochrome version. V.
