Turtle

Almost ran this guy over leaving our neighborhood!
I put him in the grass (although he resisted), and when we came home, he was back in the road.
The next morning, unfortunately, someone had run him over. :(

He's so flat it looks like he's already run over here! Is he a snapping turtle? Very cool to see him and get the shot. Very sad he got hit in the end.
