Sugar Land, Texas

We finally got much needed RAIN. Of course, like the saying goes... Everything is bigger in Texas.
After a big dry spell, we got torrential rains that caused flooding. We had 7 inches of rain today.
This is my nextdoor neighbor's house. Mine sits a little higher, thankfully. We didn't get water inside.

Seven inches? Dear lord. We have basements, 7 inches would have destroyed homes and prob lives!!!!

I hope it dries out. The reflections are great.

Reflections of the house in the water is not good news. Hope it dried off by now. A well illustrated report, Lynn!

"Never rains but it pours", seems to be true in your area. Wow!

Glad your house wasn't flooded..

Nice reflection there. I got caught in a deluge today, couldn't see the front end of the car--2 inches of rain in less than an hour to an already soaked ground.

When it rains it pours. This kind of rainfall around here would be catastrophic.
