Mother Grizzly and her two cubs, just South of Colter Bay in Grand Teton National Park. The mother, in the center, is #399 and is famous for bringing her cubs "near" areas where people can see them. It may give her some protection from larger male bears that might try to kill the cubs. Do a search of "bear #399" and you will find numerous sites describing her and her family.
Here, they had left the pond and were out near the main highway (with lots of cars pulled off there).
