Zafra. Arco de Jerez

Zafra can be accessed by any of the doors of the old wall, if by chance you do it through the Puerta de Jerez immediately will become spellbound. The narrowness of the alley framed by an arch decorated with tiles, small balconies overlook flowering. From there you just have to let go. Everywhere you look wonderful buildings, like the Convent of Santa Clara, Santa Catalina and the Rosary. The imposing Alcazar, built in the sixteenth century and now a Parador, and the church of Our Lady of Candelaria, which was Collegiate mid-nineteenth century are emblematic jewels of the city.
