I noticed this snapper draped over a branch in a very uncomfortable position, its eyes closed. I was worried it was actually dead because several dead snappers had been found in the same area this Spring. Notice the other snapper in the foreground.




On my return loop I checked on the turtle to find it now draped over the log. At least I knew it was alive.
