Long Weekend

Tucson, AZ

Looking back from the business end of the backhoe part of this Case 580M backhoe loader.
Doing some prep work to build a garage/workshop on our property and got a special deal on renting
this machine for three days. I am exhausted but had a total blast doing just about everything
a machine like this was built to do. The tired part came from all of the tree cutting and desert
vegetation removal. One day was spent just transplanting three relatively small (5 foot, 1.8 meter)
Saguaro cacti. I hope they do well in their new locations. This is a merge of three exposures for HDR.

Side view with the front bucket up a bit and the dipper in the "full, upright, and locked" position:

other sizes: small medium original auto

I'm sure building this was an adventure. I like the variety of cacti you have on the property. The drone view of your driveway is great. Well planned and smoothly done.

Tractors like this always remind of the the one my dad had when I was a little kid. I would always love just being in it when he was working. It even became a favorite place for me to sleep when he wasn't! This picture has a great sense of view. Thanks for sharing it.http://aussieplanthire.com.au/
