Charlie goes through security

We drove Charlie and his owner to the airport for their flight to Vancouver Island. Charlie was properly caged, but as a 19lb cat had to travel in his cage in the hold. The cage had to be checked by security, without Charlie inside.

So here's my wife struggling to hold Charlie at the security point, while his owner showed papers etc, and the empty cage was checked.

What I didn't understand was we could then take the cage, with Charlie inside, back out to the check in area, where we were free to put anything we want in it.

We heard this morning that Charlie survived the flight, was well looked after by WestJet, a great airline, and is settling in to his new life as a hippie-cat on the island

Yours is not to reason why, yours is to do as you are bloody well told and stop making waves.
I once pointed out the law to a policeman, and then spent all day in a freezing cold cell, no light, no chair, no food or drink, it was quite unpleasant.

Your wife looks nice. She certainly has her hands full.
