Camelopardalid Meteor Shower - Not

After the supposed peak of midnight and after the clouds cleared.

Started watching at 23:00 to 01:00 with no meteors seen visually or through the camera.
Saw a lot of passing jets.
Very cloudy at the beginning.

From the backyard in the Santa Clara valley.

Here is a movie of the passing clouds and of the stars http://youtu.be/F1mMivLX73U

Great shot with the FE, would have been really sensational with a meteor shower ! V

Pretty image, but, like you, I didn't have much luck spotting much of anything either.

Neat well captured and nicely framed sky shot Bryan.

We were clouded out for the most part. I heard the "possible 300 meteors per hour" was a bust - more like 2 or 3 per hour for those that saw anything :-(

So much to see up there...good work, Bryan

The 8mm lens makes for an interesting image, Bryan.

*wasn't* able to photograph it, that is.

My experience as well. I saw one meteor around 12:15 and was able to photography it.

Cool sky at 8mm, Bryan. I see that you had just as much success seeing any as did I.
