"Do you know what are you taking a photo of?"

Lerici (Italy)

"Do you know what are you taking a photo of?" Asked me an old man.

I felt suddenly very silly and I answered clumsily that I was taking a photo of a wonderfully colourful narrow street.

He smiled at us and explained: "This was the old ghetto of Lerici. It was many years ago…"
Then he doffed his hat to me and slowly walked away

You have captured the atmosphere of the old ghetto perfectly! Your composition gives me the impression that I am actually there about to walk up the stairs! V!

The colours are joyful, both on the buildings and in the clothes. A lovely little peek at a hidden corner. V
