By boat from Portovenere to Lerici

The Poets' Gulf

Lord Byron would have chosen to swim instead of taking the boat-
Actually he swam across the bay over a distance of 7.5 kilometres, from Portovenere to Lerici to meet Shelley, who lived there at that time, exactly in San Terenzo–which is a village between La Spezia and Lerici–.
We were not that sporty, so we chose the boat.

I'd have chosen the boat too, the camera might get wet if you swim with it.

Very sensible of you to take the boat! Great color on the water. V
