There are a number of fires burning in our area today, including a large one in San Marcos. A DC-10 supertanker has been called in to fight the San Marcos fire and here it can be seen passing in front of the rising full moon.

Wow! An amazing shot, Dan. The fires are all over the news here. Did you see Sam Rua's full moon with smoke from the fires? Interesting that you both posted the moon tonight. It must be pretty dramatic. Stay safe.
