Dandelion with metallic wood-boring beetles (Buprestidae), possibly Anthaxia

Burnt Lands Provincial Park

Inside this dandelion were four beetles. Two were mating, the other two just hanging out. When I went to take a photo, one of the tiny beetles dropped to the ground, but the others were oblivious. The Buprestidae family has many species ranging from tiny ones as here, to very large colourful creatures.
