Granite Rapid/Camp

This picture shows the sand which I camped on (but further to the left), the rapids, and peaceful water above.

It does not show the rock which I found shade in, or the Tamarack which others camped in.

I waited all day to take pictures of river runners, and some rafters did appear at the end of the day, but they made camp above the rapid!

The rapid seemed much smaller than when I ran it in 1985. I guess the river level has dropped quite a bit, and of course things seem smaller on shore, esp. when you know you don't have to run the rapid.
