Belle Mare, Mauritius

This was taken on a flight in the microlight, at about 500 feet. I chose not to take my DSLR as I was worried about sea spray, but I think my G9 was OK and happily it survived.

What a stunning view. We flew in a helicopter in Fiji from the mainland to one of the island resorts - this reminds me of that trip. Stunning view here Tony

Nice shot Tony. I am not surprised that the G9 did well though, I took my Canon S95 (which is also getting a little long in the tooth) to south america last year as a backup in case something happened to my D700 and ended up taking about 1/3 of my pictures with it.
