Police cars and barricades (to keep everyone cool-headed) on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday night

In the background on the left side of the street is a weird site - the facade of a building with supports for it - just the facade of that building was saved.
Beale Street is famous for its blues clubs and restaurants. Beginning in the early 1900's many blues legends, such as W.C. Handy, Louis Armstrong, Muddy Waters, Albert King, B. B. King, "Furry" Lewis and Rufus Thomas played in clubs on Beale Street.
