Garlic sprouts

#21 April Challenge - 30 Things -

"Fresh"

Garlic sprouts immerging in April from cloves planted last October.
I plant 100 heads of 10 varieties, ready to be harvested in mid July.
Curing undercover in the boathouse with ocean breezes takes a month.
The heads then get trimmed and bagged by variety and are ready for winter storage.
I'm still using last year's crop!

Fantastic capture of this early growth pushing through the straw. Looks like you'll have plenty for next winter too. V.
