I had a very used '63 MG Midget in the late '60s and my best friend had a brand new Austin Healey Sprite. Mine was underpowered and prone to breakage, oil leaks, carb de-synch and wire-wheel warp. Although mine was British Racing Green, not white, the hood-up configuration looks eerily familiar. Regardless, we had a lot of fun going to sports car rallyes, auto-crosses and just driving the backroads of the Napa Valley. Unfortunately, they were prone to rust and other maladies. You don't see many today.
