Sorry to hear about your wife's mishap. I hope she is up and about soon. (the mind wonders what is the discoloration in the white above the ankle. but not too hard :)

Actually, it's Montse, not me... she got her ankle broken some weeks ago: fibula and tibia broken, so, she had to visit the operating room. She's not allowed to put her foot in the ground yet, We hope this will change next wednesday, after a scheduled visit to the doctor.

As photograhps I like these but not the story behind it of course. Pain in the service of art. I was wondering how this would look in black and white but then again the impact of the 3rd image might be less.
