The statue of the Three Mackinaw Trout is a well-known sight at the "Y" in Tahoe City.
This is where Hwy 89 splits to go either south along the west shore, or to head north
east through Tahoe City.
The sculpture was created by John Betts, who currently is a builder of America's Cup yachts.
