Children and cars don't mix, at all…
Sarah needed somewhere to put her phone while she was playing in the drive yesterday, so why not pop the tail gate on Mom's car that's parked in the garage and set your phone in the trunk area of this new SUV? Sure. Great idea?
She is the best kid, rally she is. However sometimes she forgets to close doors and she shut the garage door, while the tail gate was still up. Yeah. Nice!
Fast forward 6 hours when I come home around 11 pm and my garage door would only open about 20 inches? WTF. It's late and I need to get in my house. Shut the garage and then try to reopen it. Nothing. I then have to army crawl under the door and see the problem as I pop back up to my feet. The tailgate and the garage door have joined in a union of sheet metal and GMC tailgate. Cute. It's late and now I am looking at who knows how much damage to the power life gate on her car? Really…
I soon got the door and vehicle untangled and didn't even want to look and see the damage and just called it a night. Morning brought me face to face with the incident again. Fortunate that everything buffed out and all's well that ends well like it never happened.
Sarah must have said sorry a hundred times but thats another PaD.
