Visiting Ericameria nauseosa, Rabbitbrush. This genus of bees is diverse and fun to photograph. All of them are cleptoparasites. They lay their eggs in the burrows of Andrena and Halictid bees, where the larvae then feed on the pollen stores collected by the host bee. Nomada do not have pollen collecting hairs but the adults frequent flowers.
