Barred Owl

Beckwith Township
Fading light; and little time to compose. Why is it an immutable law of bird photography that there is ALWAYS a stick in the way; that one never sees until the image hits the big screen???
The Barred Owl allowed me to step out onto my back porch; move two steps; take two shots..then it flew off into the increasing darkness.

Terrific shot in spite of such low light - those eyes are locked on you.
