Duck sitting in the sunshine

This is a full size photo from the camera that shows that the camera can deliver very good results in the right circumstances. Here, edge and corner resolution does not matter due to the subject (the duck) being in the center of the image. But in any case, it is only at or near the widest angle that the lens has problems with corner and far edge resolution - at longer focal lengths the corner and far edge resolution is good. The out of focus quality (bokeh) of this 10x zoom lens is seen to be good. In this situation it can compete with much better cameras and give an excellent large printable photo. With a small amount of work, this would be a publishable image that you would normally only expect from a full frame 35mm DSLR.
