I lived just over a mile away from 15th century South Leith Church
for the first twenty five years of my life and passed by it every day
on the way to work or school for around twenty.
I finally walked around the grounds / graveyard for the very first time
just last week and discovered it had many fascinating crypts and tombstones
including that of John 'Blind' Pew from the novel 'Treasure Island'
