This shot shows the smaller ridge merging into the lower middle of the higher ridge.

The higher ridge is bigger than it looks here.

You can start climbing this higher ridge further down. I start descending when I reach treeline, down to the gap in the smaller ridge. Some (most?) Telly skiers go further along the corniced ridge and come down near the "Gates of the Mountain"

This slope is probably in the avalanche danger zone in terms of steepness. I have seen the debris from avalanches but those have come from way above and down through the "Gates of the Mountain".
