Just a bit up from Elk Meadows Trail

Usually neither side is passable (in the river bed), so one needs 2 snow bridges , one to get to the right side of the picture (boaters call this river left). And another to cross the creek between where it goes from one bank to the other.

You can just make out some old ski tracks where someone sneaked around on the left side, first time I have seen this was doable, looks worse already.
