Dexter Lake Scene

This floatation system keeps debris from the dam, which lies to the right out of view. I thought it added a bit of interest to the scene at Dexter Lake.

Nicely composed and well seen. We have one of these in Lake Erie near the mouth
of the Niagara to prevent ice from going down the Niagara River. Many think it
extends our cool weather well into April before it's removed. This year, with the
amount of ice, it may not be until the middle of May!

nice compo Vern like the angle here

A simple idea, two bridges on the river have trapped branches after the floods.

A good shot showing this trash catcher in use. It is to be hoped the trash actually gets removed at intervals. The curving splash of red/orange certainly adds extra depth and interest for the eye.
