Gaye McGahey asked Chris to send some photos of his
unique place in Hawaii. Here are the photos
and here is what he said:

I'm delighted to send some photos, as I thrive on pity,
and maybe someone will even send me some new work clothes.
I look out, from an elevation of 1800 feet, onto about
a thousand square miles of the Pacific. I've got
5,000 gallons of catchment water, a lovely outdoor
(obviously) shower, and details of the toilet facilities
will be left unaddressed (though perfectly adequate
and appropriate, and refined for 6,000 years in China)
