Queen Mary, Long Beach, CA

RMS Queen Mary is a retired ocean liner that sailed primarily in the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967 for the Cunard Line.
The ship is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The National Trust for Historic Preservation has accepted the Queen Mary to be part of the Historic Hotels of America.

Beautiful compostion. It reminds me of the SS United States which took us from New York to Le Havre in 1965 and then back to New York in 1968. The sailing ships were a fading business at that time. Now the SS United States has been recycled. It is nice to see that this ship was preserved. Voted.
