Somnabulistic Shooting

I shot this around midnight - long waited sunset shooting became a disaster - the strong fog did it fully impossible, the vision was less than 10 m. I was long back to the hotel when noticed that fog was disappearing and a full moon was coming out - I run out to do some shots without any hopes to get something usable and was very surprised when saw the result. The small dots one can see in the left upper corner are the stars. After short break fog came back and closed the whole scenery for the next 3 days ...

Very nice! The long exposure works well here. - Ken

Trav, Paul - thank you for your kind comments. This is a rice terrace and the plant is the rice. The harvest time was over, in a few weeks the farmer will clean the terrace and the new cycle will start ... That terrace will be then full green in a march and yellow in october.
The picture was done in a kind of between-season.

Personally what catches my eye is the plant growth on the water surface. Nice work. Paul.

Very interesting....and a dedicated shooter indeed. More importantly, photography enhances your life...by forcing you to do interesting things....like going back out and trying to shoot a difficult scene.

Kudos.
