We took a drive over to Slapton Sands today for a walk alone the beach, the sun was out and it felt so good, it has really lifted the spirits to have two days without rain. The road that runs along her had been closed for some time as it was flooded over and then covered in sand making impassable to most vehicles, today it was a different story and I was glad to see so many people coming out to visit the area and put some much needed income into the local businesses in the area.
he rain is back next week and I am back on the bike too, thankfully the weather will not be so severe as in previous weeks.
