After dinner, John and I went outside to do some stargazing.

I grabbed my tripod, fisheye lens, shutter remote and Ipod Touch(timer / tunes) for these pictures.

With our Milky Way galaxy to the left.
And the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds, which are only visible in the Southern Hemisphere.

*Lots of stars in this picture due to the high ISO/sensor sensitivity.
