Jim, Daniel - thank you for kind word. Daniel - I have not done any HDR (or HDR-style) processing here. The image came out even without Photoshop - only Lightroom and a bit of Nik Software. K

With an other worldly sky also...fabulous image. I've been up to the Kennecott Mine in Utah....same details and methods, pretty fascinating, great capture by you. Traveller

A great way to start us off. I'm fascinated by large open pit mines. I have a love/hate relationship with them. But this is a great shot capturing the structure and colors of the layers. Could you post a v large version in pending? Jim
