Maleszyk - After Dinner on Richmond St., Toronto.

Toronto, Ontario, CANADA

1945, possibly Easter weekend: Image taken at the home of Stanley Maleszyk on Richmond St., Toronto, Ontario, CANADA. The original photograph was tilted badly. I straightened it up as best that I could, but in the process ended up removing some of the top and the bottom of the image. Still, it looks better, at least in my opinion...

My Maleszyk family certainly knew how to eat and to drink ;-)

Going from left to right the people are:
Mrs. Stanley Maleszyk (head is just partially visible behind her husband)
Stanley Maleszyk
Unknown Man
Genevieve Maleszyk Maitland
Unknown Man (Stanley's son)
Unknown Girl (Stanley's son's daughter)
Unknown Woman (Stanley's son's wife)
Walter Maleszyk
Rosalia Latkowski Maleszyk (Babcia)
Alexander Maleszyk (DziaDzia - right side of his face hidden by my mother)
Clifford Johnston (child leaning in over the table - me)
Janina Maleszyk Johnston (my mother)

The above pic is my christening party thrown by my grandmother. The 3 people sitting between Gen Maitland and Walter are my mother Stella Letniak (Maleszyk) brother Walter Maleszyk and my sister Theresa Letniak and my mother's sister Jean Maleszyk. The picture on the upper mantel is my mother Stella. By the way I'm not in the pic but my name is Wanda Ladiges (nee Letniak). I don't know the man sitting to the right of Gen but he's probably another Maleszyk. There's so many!

Love this - your mom was so pretty. My Dad used to say how well she dressed.
