Monells Arches´ Street
Every corner, house and stone in Monells whisper memories of past medieval nobles and knights, street markets, castles, counts, countesses and kings.
In the Baix Empordà, at the feet of the Gavarres mountain range and only a few kilometres away from Girona, and the Costa Brava, one finds the town of Monells. The town took shape around the old castle, of which only ruins of the city walls remain.
